A Culture of Food Safety First
After 6 successive years of receiving the top “A” rating on the British Retail Consortium’s (BRC) Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) audit, Reily Foods Company has received the newly established “AA” rating. The new “AA” rating level was established with the release of BRC’s updated Issue 7 audit protocol, replacing the “A” rating as the highest audit score that can be achieved. This “AA” rating has been achieved at Reily’s New Orleans, LA and Knoxville, TN facilities. Both have achieved the highest audit ratings for 7 years in a row. The New Orleans facility produces a number of packaged beverage brands including Luzianne Tea and Coffee, as well as French Market Coffee. Knoxville's production includes Luzianne, Blue Plate, JFG, Swans Down, and TryMe. Both facilities are also qualified contract manufacturers for some of the country’s largest private label brands and industrial customers. The BRC is an internationally recognized accreditation body for the audit and certification of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). This certification recognizes that Reily Foods Company's manufacturing facilities are committed to achieving worldwide best practices in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
